Privacy

This page explains what is kept, and for how long, when you chat with Silver Green's AI assistant on Facebook Messenger or on this website.

The conversation

Your chosen language, your latest questions and answers, and anything you type for a quote request (name, phone number, note) are kept on our server until 24 hours after your last message. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.

Website chat: your browser

If you use the chat on this website, your browser keeps a random visitor ID and the recent conversation on your own device (in localStorage) for up to 24 hours after your last message, so the conversation is still there if you reopen the chat. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Stored conversations

To check the quality of the answers and to help customers, we store conversations: what you type or tap in the chat, including anything you give us such as a name or a phone number, the answers you receive, and your Messenger ID or website visitor ID. A conversation can be read as a whole, and the conversations of one person can be linked to each other. Your IP address is not stored with them. There is no fixed end date for keeping them. To have your conversations deleted, call +976 9900 1197.

Short-lived records

To avoid handling the same message twice and to limit the number of questions, we keep short-lived records. They are tied to your Messenger ID or, on the website, to your visitor ID and to a scrambled (keyed-hash) form of your IP address; the address itself is not kept in these records. They are kept for a day at most, and most of them for just a few hours.

E-mail to the company

If you send a quote request, or ask on Messenger to talk to a person, an e-mail goes to the company. A quote request contains your name, phone number, chosen product, note and where it came from (Messenger or the website chat). From Messenger it also contains your Messenger ID; from the website it contains no ID. A request to talk to a person on Messenger contains the time, your Messenger ID, your last message and, when available, your Facebook name. On the website the assistant gives you the phone numbers instead and sends no e-mail.

Service providers

On Messenger, messages travel through Meta (Facebook Messenger). The AI service that writes the answers receives your question and the earlier conversation. A cloud database service holds the short-term records and the stored conversations, and an e-mail service sends the e-mails. Our hosting provider runs the website and the assistant and sees your IP address when you visit the website or use the chat.
