Structure
The ger's structure, part by part
The round shape of a ger reduces the force of the wind, and felt helps it keep the heat. Rotate the ger and pick a part to look at. The “Structure” view cuts the cover away to show the wooden frame and the felt insulation.

How to order
Your ger in four steps
From the first consultation to the handover of your ger.
Get in touch by phone or send a request. We listen to what the ger is for, where it will stand and what you need, and advise you.
Together we choose the size of the ger and add-ons such as windows, a terrace or a canopy. Then we prepare a quote.
Confirmed orders are built in the order they come in. Confirm early to receive your ger when you want it.
We hand over your ger on the agreed date. Delivery and assembly terms are agreed when you order.

How warm is the ger in the winter cold?
As warm as a Mongolian ger always is. It has two layers of factory-made felt insulation and a three-layer cover, so heat loss is low. A stove or a fireplace stove can be added, and underfloor heating is also available.
What is the ger made of?
The raw materials come from Russia. The felt is washed felt that has no odour and does not yellow, unlike Chinese felt. The timber is fully kiln-dried, and some of the thicker timbers are made from pine logs grown in Mongolian soil.
What about the windows, crown and door?
The windows are metal vacuum units with a protective double-glass layer. They are polycarbonate, so if one cracks it does not shatter and injure anyone. For summer you can choose a heat-reducing version. The crown opens up to 80 degrees and both halves of the door open, letting air and breeze through. Extra side windows and doors can be added.
Is it resistant to wind and rain? What cover options are there?
A traditional ger shifts and dries out, but ours is built as one complete piece, so it withstands all weather. The felt is a moisture barrier and rain protection, with a tarpaulin layer on the outside. Tarpaulin breathes, is cheaper and lasts about 5 years. A membrane (PVC) cover is available on request and lasts 50-60 years, but costs considerably more. Its drawback is that if the ger is not used regularly, condensation can form and rot the felt inside.
What does the price include?
The published price is for a Tsomtsog frame ger of that diameter, with delivery and assembly included. Foundation, heating and parquet flooring are not included. Ask about add-ons such as a terrace, canopy or ornament when you request a quote.
Can I have extra windows, a terrace or a canopy?
Extra windows can be added. We have also built gers with a terrace, a canopy, a base on steel legs and a cover with traditional ornament. Ask whether these are possible for your ger when you request a quote.
Do you deliver and assemble?
Yes. The price includes delivery and assembly.
How long does an order take?
It is ready in 3-4 days, provided the materials have been purchased and prepared.
Since when have you been operating?
We have been operating since 2023, and have done ger carpentry since 2020. We are a young company that was only recently registered, and our goal is to compete in the international market.
